Google Showing A Lot Of Volatility In SERPs

This week I’ve seen a ton of shifting in the Google SERPs. Rankings are coming and going, and moving around quite a bit. Whether this is universal or not, I have no way of knowing, but it’s been going on for a few days.

I’m not quick to think that shuffling like this is always a portend of a major shakeup, or a sign of something greater. But something is “going on” and it hasn’t been lately. The SERPs have been relatively quiet lately. And one thing you can be sure of, when things seem quiet in Google, that’s when it’s time to look out for something major.

So, this will be a relatively short post. Just wanted to know if anyone out there is noticing any volatility, and to offer a heads up to everyone.
