The State Of Google Adsense

I haven’t posted too much about Adsense lately, because I’ve been more or less trying to wean myself from a daily stats-checking addiction. When I did log in recently, I must say that the trends I saw were decent. For a long while, it appeared that the only trend was down with Adsense, but after the changes they’ve made have been integrated, it looks like an upswing is in order.

Of course, with a program like Adsense, everything can change in a hurry. But it does look like some of the “quality changes” they’ve made have been panning out. As the program matures, it seems likely that more and more quality checks will continue to come into play. When the program started, Google was still relatively unknown. Now, after years of dominance, the program is used by so many websites and publishers that changes are the only constant.

The only way Google can stay ahead of competitors is by attempting to keep everyone happy. When I say everyone, I mean web surfers, their advertisers, and the publishers, not necessarily in that order. So far, they’ve done a decent job of it, despite the large number of people who might be unhappy with them at any time.

Right now, they’re making me happy again, and that’s all that really counts :)

How happy are you with Adsense these days?
