I usually don’t get too excited about “data center” watching or anything along those lines, but the fluctuation in traffic from Google this week is worth noting. It really does seem that some massive changes are happening. I’d venture to guess they’re all related to the new Google Universal Search, and Google adding more personalization data into the mix.
The instability is probably expected to a degree. If my predictions are right, Google is probably going to change the game forever for all of us this time. They’ll keep using the data they collect from users, at some point even in real time, until the SERPs are decided by users almost instantly.
If you haven’t paid any attention to the Universal Search changes, you should look into the following areas:
Adding this type of content to your website should help.

I’ve noticed a lot of fluctuation with one of my sites over the past couple of weeks.
During the last few days of May the amount of traffic I got from Google dropped off quite a bit, but over the past few days it seems to have recovered considerably. I did wonder what was going on!!

Thanks Darren
That explains the strange results I had been receiving this last week.
As an extra note….I also have had changed results from my adsense earnings as well, with an overall PPC drop across the board. It’s as if the value per click of all the ads has been lowered.
Keep up the great work
