Google Adwords won’t work for every single website, but most websites that sell a product of service can benefit from the program. For the first few years Adwords was around, they system wasn’t that flexible. But as time rolled on, Google has ended up implementing lots of controls that make it possible for most people to earn a profit.

You have to work your AdWords account very hard (or hire someone to do it for you), because it’s definitely not a “set it and forget it” type of program. But if you manage it closely, you end with a very nice stream of targeted traffic. Whether you actually make money or not will be largely up to your competition and the nature of your website and product.

The key to getting started with Adwords is to not blow your budget too early, before the benefits of advertising become obvious. You’ll have to refine your keywords, and this alone will take some weeks. As your visitors become more targeted, the chances are great that you’ll see an increase in conversions. If this is the case, your work is nearly done. All you have to do is maintain your results.

If you never give up on experimenting, your AdWords campaign can end up being a valuable ally in your personal quest for business success. Managed incorrectly, doom is almost nearly assured! This is akin to playing with fire because Google has a ton of great traffic. If you choose your plan wisely, sales will go through the roof without expenses coming along for the ride.

Do you use AdWords at all?
