Daily Content Updates Trump PageRank

For many years PageRank was touted as the single best way to make a website get indexed, and there’s no doubt it’s still important, but luckily there’s hope for the millions of new websites that go online every year and don’t have any visible PageRank to begin with. The truth is, if you update content consistently, you’ll see that you can get pages indexed incredibly fast, with almost no effort on your part. Bloggers have known about this for years, and it’s the reason that adding a blog to your website can make a huge difference to your bottom line.
Update often and update about hot subjects
That’s the easy way for any blog or website to gain new targeted traffic. Talk about what’s going on right now and fresh people will show up here and now. If you keep the discussion on the newest and hottest things, you’re assured of visitors. Most people who do keyword research do it reactively.
Why do the spiders love fresh content so much? I can’t say with any certainty, but I’ve examined this phenomena for at least a year now. You don’t need high PR to have your pages indexed daily.
Something oddly paradoxical should also be pointed out here. It’s the blogs that update daily that get the most links, which ends up raising PageRank. Ironic, isn’t it?
