There’s one very nice thing about Google Adsense: the program is more flexible than you might realize, but you can almost always tweak your code in a way that will help you increase revenues. There’s no handbook you can completely follow, but good advice to follow is to never give up. Keep making changes, and recording the results. You might be amazed at just how big of a difference you can make.

The easiest way to track your changes is to create custom channels and watch the performance of the ad units. Move them around, and try different sizes until you come up with a combination that really performs well.

Be careful not to make too many changes at once. Change one item and track the results. Record your results, analyze them, and make your decisions.

You can change the site layout, also. Some site layouts do much better than others, and the only way to find out what works with your readers is by trying it out. Something as simple as a template change can make all the difference in the world.

Don’t give up until your dollars are through the roof.
