Google has been broke for a long while, and I don’t hear too many people disputing that fact. Between their shady site: and link: commands, and their constantly updating results, you barely see the same thing twice in Google. But I have to show a screen capture of something remarkable. Have you ever seen snippets so screwed up as these?

It’s not even totally related to the on-page content either. It’s almost as if the Google has the wrong fields in there, or something. I’ve been noticing more and more of these busted up snippets, and I’m pretty sure it can’t be good for business.
What do you think of this snippet?

Yes, I’ve noticed the same thing happening on and off for a number of months now. It suddenly became a lot worse last night, and I’m seeing supplemental results containing the description of my page repeated many times over.
It seems to be fine on queries which aren’t “site:” queries, and it doesn’t seem to have affected Google traffic to my site.

Martin,
It’s some crazy stuff going on. I’m sure they’re sorting it out. But the snippets defintely freaked me out.
