Toolbar Pagerank Hasn’t Finished Exporting Yet

It sure takes a long time to get old outdated Pagerank values to show on the toolbar. The current update has been going on for about a week, and so far, the values aren’t stable across the many Google Data Centers. Google updates are certainly not a smooth process. In fact, the Google site command has been unstable, too. This is hardly big news, as it generally has trouble displaying the correct value, but I don’t remember it doing this before.

This latest update shows a lot of seemingly very high values. What it means, I can’t be sure. Even these values are 90 days out of date, so it’s unclear exactly what snapshot we’re looking at. I haven’t re-installed my toolbar to see what’s happening today, but all of the “future PR tools” seem to be displaying fluctuating totals.

Have you seen a new PR on your website yet?
