Would you believe the claim that you could get a brand new website indexed in Google within 24 hours? Do you think it’s possible? I’ve witnessed this very case on 3 separate occassions since August, so I’m sure it can be done.
People are always wondering how you get indexed in Google, and the answer never really changes much. You need links from websites that are already in Google. If the websites are “trusted”, then some of that trust passes on to your website. I’m simplifying a bit, but you get the idea. The quickest way for you to get a brand new website up and running is with trusted links.
What are “trusted backlinks”?
These are links from websites that themselves have a ton of backlinks. The reasoning is simple. If a bunch of “good sites” link to one “good site”, then the sites that are linked to from them are also “good”. Again, I’m using simple terms to illustrate the point, but the point remains. An example of website with a lot of trust is Wikipedia. Wikipedia has tons of incoming backlinks, and when they link out, the link may be considered “premier”.
None of this is an exact science, of course, but it should help ground you in a framework of thinking about job as a link builder.
Why are blogs always indexed so fast?
Not only are blogs indexed fast, they get a higher PR than other websites. Don’t believe me?
Another Web Directory I own Web’s Best Directory has a PR5. Where as the Marketing Blog attached to it has a PR6.
I’ve seen this happen a great number of times with blogs, so I assume it’s a trend. Why would blogs be more beloved than static websites? Because they generally have a ton of internal backlinks (often deep links), from generally highly linked and trusted websites.
Possible reasons for this should not be ignored in our backlink examinations.
The same thing applies when you’re looking to purchase a text link such as a directory listing. Examine the backlinks of the directory and make sure they have tons of links from distinct sources. One such example would be Sootle Web Directory, which has over 100,000 thousand links from distinct websites all over the world. Always examine the quality of backlinks for any website in which you plan on purchasing a link. If you can’t keep on clicking “NEXT” past the 4th page of results, you might be in trouble. If you’re still there 12 pages later and seeing new sites, you know it’s a good deal.
