I’d like to talk about managing your internet marketing resources. I’m not talking just about your budget, or human resources, but the most important factor of all, your time. If you’re not careful, internet marketing will quickly consume your life. The learning curve can be steep, and there are so many things to experiment with. You need to decided what your goals are, and what steps you take daily to achieve them.

If you don’t have a lot of time, consider delegating the responsibility of internet marketing to someone else. This can be someone on your own staff, or a completely seperate company. The main thing to consider is can you afford the service monthly? Almost all internet marketing efforts will require monthly maintenance, just like any other form of advertising.

Internet marketing isn’t brain surgery, but it does require the same sort of specialization in training. People probably need to be working full-time at the job to have much chance of success, especially if you’re going after big prizes.

Whatever you do, be realistic in your aims, and err on the side of spending too little to start. To shoot your entire budget early on is completely demotivational. Always keep excellent records, and analyze your data religiously. Managing you resources will help you growing your online business for years.
