If you’re a programmer, then Google has a contest that might be of interest to you. You can enter into the Google Gadget Awards between now and November 1st, 2006.

The contest will be judged by an all-star cast of technology people.

This contest is for students only, and you need to have a .edu email to enter. Gadgets are part of Google’s push to one day becoming an operating system.
