The Adsense team has decided to broaden their stardom to include mass media now. Theresa Chow has made the first Video Podcast for the Adsensers. She did a very good job! Looks like the folks at Google did a nice job using multiple camera angles to get that “interview feel”.

Ms. Chow delivered her lesson with a properly modulated cadence. I’m betting she always dreamed of being an anchorwoman, and settled for her job at G. My only beef with the whole production was whoever told Theresa to “look up” and hold her chin up. It sort of gave her an imperious look (like an Evil Queen) or something. No worries though, because the included some nice outtakes at the end that showed us she’s very down to Earth.

If you have questions for the Google Adsense folks, they can answer them in video format. I’m thinking of some questions right now. Perhaps some cycling tips from Mike Gutner or a steel cage optimization match between him and Ivan the Optimiser. I can think of millions of great ideas for people to do while “on the clock” at Google.

A video series like this goes a long way to bridging the gap between companies and customers. I’m sure we’ll see more multi-media efforts as we go along, aimed at increasing market share as well as occupying the mind-space of the common Netizen. If we can all learn something that helps us makes a few extra bucks, then cast my vote as a resounding “Yes!” to more instruction videos.

And Theresa, you keep practicing your skills because I’m sure you’re ready for the big time. If CBS or another heavyweight company doesn’t at least interview her, they’re really missing the boat.
