Google Video Adwords hitting the streets

Here comes a shock: Google has announced yet another new feature/product/enhancement/mod. This time, we’re looking at Google Video AdWords. This is another way for an intrepid web marketers to find new customers, this time through the power of video.

Video is clearly the future, especially for the multitude of mobile masses hit the online world at a record pace. This is a way to reach them, wherever they’re at. These type of ads should be particularly useful for certain verticals (entertainments stands out), and could provide a low-cost way to get your name in front of others.

You’re probably still better off going viral with your video, but this might be a way to jump start a slow moving internet marketing campaign. Of Google’s recent spate of releases, this one appears to be the most useful.
