I happened to find myself on the Adsense Blog and found this piece about Mike Gutner, the Adsense Optimization Specialist. I have to admit my mind was blown when I found his answer to the typical puff question: “How did you get to work this morning?”

I cycled. I live in San Francisco and enjoy bicycling the 40 miles to work about once or twice a week. I cycled across the United States a few years ago and like to re-live those days of getting up at 5:30am and cycling the pre-dawn miles.

Wow, Mike! A 40 mile bike ride to work. How long did it take? I’ll give this guy credit for massive cardio stamina. This reminds me to make sure to get some serious miles on my bike this year. I purchased a Trek 7100 last year, and only managed to log about 45 miles all year! Comparing that to Mr. Gutner’s morning bike ride, I feel like I need to get on the stick.
