I can’t even remember the last time there was a Google backlink update. An event like that used to cause so much uproar and interest.

Now, I fear, optimizers quake in their boots at the mere mention of anything having to do with the Google updates.

Google updates are more like tsunamis then gentle flowing changes in streams. They are like bomb bursts, ripping the guts out of almost all unsuspecting websites out there. I think I’ll go hide in the bunker before the next one.
