The news from the battlefields has been scarce lately. Ever since the devastating “Bourbon Update”, wounded webmasters have been seen patching their websites, and crying into their beers. But there has been scant info concerning what actually happened, and what can be changed to counter it.

It appears Google has won the current round of battles with the SEOs. How long this will last, no one can say for sure, but the reality is, right now there’s a lot of search engine alchemists back to stirring their cauldrons.
