Google “deep-crawl” still going on

Google has been crawling deep and heavily for the last 3 days. This is all related to the recent Google update which is nearing its’ completion.

According to GoogleGuy, the update is over except for minor tweaks. What exactly changed in this update is unclear, but it was significant for many site. Many sites had a whip-lash effect after the update began, many landing several hundred places lower than they planned.

Time will tell how this changes things, but it appears that any SEO sites have been punished again.
